Students from Westminster PS Visiting Parliament Hill - 11/22/2019

It was a pleasure to welcome the students from Westminster PS to the House of Commons. We had a great discussion on the floor of the HoC Chamber about our parliamentary system and these future leaders sat in chairs belonging to the Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition, and Speaker of the House of Commons. The highlight for me was when the students sat in the seat assigned to the member for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.

Steve Clark, speak at the ceremony - particularly because he presided over my swearing-in as municipal councillor in 2014!
